Today we're reporting on a truly great partnership with the team at appful.io. We joined forces to bring clubs – and tennis clubs in particular – into the mobile world. While we use our AI technology to make it possible to build apps cheaply and easily, appful brings years of expertise in customer communication and support. Their experience with clubs in particular shows: there is incredible potential to bring communication with club members into the 21st century. Together, we have launched an exciting project with the Badischer Tennisverband (BTV).

BTV: Digitalising Tennis

The development of the BTV app by appful is a prime example of digitalisation in the sports sector. The app offers tennis players and clubs in Baden comprehensive features: from league overviews to live results. Users can also receive push notifications and access all the latest news from the Baden tennis world – a real asset for the community.

Tennis Clubs as Digital Pioneers

We're also working in this current project with the HEIMSPIELE marketing agency to give every individual tennis club its own digital space. With a customised app, clubs now have the ability to reach their members more effectively and communicate important information directly. This step not only simplifies organisation but also strengthens the sense of community within the club. And rather than building a brand-new service, the app brings together all existing systems in one place – from court bookings to tournament schedules. The goal is to create a central digital hub without any extra effort for the clubs. The app automatically pulls content from the club website and offers a user-friendly solution that reaches members on mobile. A key advantage is having all existing systems integrated in one place.
